Did you know...?

More than a month later, 30 minutes before I'm of to work I find time to sit down for a quick update. Today I thought I will go for a quick "Did you know..."

Did you know...

  • That VBA stands for Visual Basic for Applications. And that it is not the same as Visual Basic. Yeah. You don't notice it when you first start programming. You use the same commands, the same set up and then BAM! You get slapped in the face with that to solve that little problem you've been turning your head in you have to think that it is VBA and not VB. When it comes to googling things I don't know about excel macros I have to make sure to add the VBA on the end.
  • I can get to my workplace without ever stepping outside? The luxury! I don't need to wade through the snow slush this winter!
  • That Windows 8 sucks? I love my new computer, the speed, the graphics, but Windows 8 OS really sucks. I mean really sucks. As the funny video below says, Windows 8 is worse than DOS. I'm going to re-quote Raluca Budiu, User experience Specialist.
"Windows 8 is optimized for content consumption rather than content production and multitasking. Whereas content consumption can easily be done on other media, such as tablets and phones, production and multitasking are still best suited for PC's. Windows 8 appears to ignore that."

    I recommend watching the clip!
